I am still in the US, eagerly awaiting the sale of my house. Fortunately, I live in a very high demand area, so, it should not be long.

It went on the market a few days ago (a good realtor can be hard to find) and there have been a *lot* of showings, which is great, but annoying.

I am Bucaramanga bound! My original plan was Medellin, but, I discovered that Buca is a bit more tranquila, yet still a good size city.

My plan is to airbnb it until I find a place to buy.

Apartment living will be a huge adjustment!

My work is highly portable, writer/editor/writing instructor.

Though rusty, my Spanish is still passable. I am currently putting much time and work into improving.

I had the great fortune to take Spanish classes at age 10, a prime time for language acquisition. Even though the classes were terrible (old school),I received some enormous benefits.

Pronunciation stayed with me as did much of the vocabulary.

If only tenses and subjunctives had been hardwired in.

I will be with my darling puppers, Jada. She adores all humans. J is naturally low energy enough for apartment life. She will be ecstatic with the walks and meeting PEOPLE. Stop and pet her, she will go berserk. In a good way.
