Demands!

I keep creating new topics because it doesn’t cost me anything.

This is what I gathered from news and I could have misunderstood something but think I got most of it. If anyone has a correction please post it.

The paro committee is saying these demands must be met. 1. The president can’t call for commission interna (where he assumes power to fix the problems and can over ride governors and mayors) for 30 days. 2. They must pull all police, esmad (riot police) and Army from the streets during the protests. 3. The defense minister must publicly apologize for the abuses against the indigenous people. If all of these are done then and only then will they consider sitting down to negotiate with the government. If the govt doesn’t do all of those they will keep on with the protests.
