Hello, I am currently in Bogota specifically Portales del Norte. I tested positive for COVID so I had to reschedule my flight back to America. I was suppose to fly out on the 19 so I pushed it for a week to the 26th so I can isolate the required time. Unfortunately everyone keeps telling me different times I need to quarantine for and some people tell me I need to get tested again before I fly to show I’m negative but nobody seems to understand that I’ll still most likely test positive atleast for 90 days. I found out I could get a letter from a doctor but I don’t even know who to go to and what I need specifically from a physician. If anyone could please help and give me some advice and point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Also, my mom and I are flying back and fortunately she tested negative but I’m scared that when we fly out next week she could possibly test positive since we are around each other. So should she get a physician’s letter as well instead paying to get another COVID test again. Plus we are both quarantining together anyways until our flights.
