DIAN, tax for foreigners

This forum has a lot of discussion regarding taxation in Colombia for residential expats and investors. Frequently, these discussions end up with more questions than answers because so many matters depend on interpretation. Well, this is where it all STARTS; the voice of authority from DIAN himself/herself. Of course, the fact it is all before your eyes in written form does not dispel the occasional need for interpretation, especially because the site understands everybody is fluent in Spanish and no translation facilities are required.
