Bogota Writers Group

Hi All,
I am a writer of fiction, based in Bogota.
I cannot find an English based, writers circle or group listed anywhere. So, I plan to start a group myself in due course.

I write speculative fiction with elements of fantasy, horror or mystery. I have written two novels and have another two in progress, as well as, ten childrens books awaiting an illustrator. I aim to self-publish my stories and so this will be something new.

If there are any editors, proofreaders or even those that love reading, willing at time to become beta readers that would be great. I don't expect you to be swamped with requests or carry out any work for free, just be good to have professionals around for advice.
I imagine a forum where we can share ideas, have 'read out loud' sessions with feedback from the group. I guess we could meet in a bar or cafe in the first instance, see how things work out.
Spanish speakers/writers are welcome, of course.
In fact, language shouldn't be a barrier for anyone in my book. - excuse the pun!

I have just managed to get my Visa/Cedula, Tax RUT documents and bank account sorted. Now waiting on the Ministry of 'Educacion' to accept my Qualifications as equivalent to an Ingeniero Civil, so I can appy for a Professional Card; a requirement before I can seek work in the profession. In the mean time, living like a local. Time and money ...
(... just can't see myself in some of those green overalls, walking up and down the autopista!)

Anyway, are there any other writers interested in joining a Writers Group in Bogota?
