Who wastes water?

The Medellin Mairie is threatening to punish households that use too much water, but how much is too much?

I had a look at our EPM invoices and calculated our average daily consumption, but they are just figures unless I have something to compare them with…..so, I thought about this forum – I wonder if they would be willing to share figures between each other?

These are our figures, computed from the last 7 months, comprising 213 days:

Cumulative cubic metres consumed = 124 m3

Average daily consumption = 0.58 m3

To put these figures in perspective, it is important to know where, and how the consumption is consumed. Again, for our household, the following figures apply:

Three-bedroom apartment with three bathroom/toilets.
No cars to clean.
No garden to water.
The consumption was fairly regular with no significant variances over the 7 months examined.

So, if any of you are willing to contribute -how did we do? Were we culprits wasting precious water supply, or were we pretty average?
