"talk about everything related to moving overseas and international living"----The above is from the website about the purpose of the Costa Rica Forum. Of course according to our Politically Correct site police they want to make sure the only thing we talk about is what "THEY" want to hear. Am I wrong to think that under the banner of "everything about International Living" when you are considering Costa Rica that maybe--just maybe---the way in which they handle the THOUSANDS of Cubans and also Syrians and other undocumented citizens of the world flocking to cross the unmanned border of the USA may be important?? As a permanent resident of Costa Rica I find the politics and law enforcement of Costa Rica important! The nice thing to know is that Costa Rica is actually performing a better job and at least TRYING to keeps it's borders policed and show that Costa Rica actually cares about unfettered access to the country! I got a real kick out of Lt. Col. Ralph Peters assessment that the "total pussy" we have in charge is not in the least bit interested in the safety of US citizens. Unfortunately the sad state of affairs caused by the absent leadership in the States is having serious repercussions on other innocent countries like Costa Rica. But at least Costa Rica does care and I think that fact is important for folks to know who are considering a move. I know the lib acolytes of Obama think he is doing a bang up job but I would say the evidence is to the contrary! So go ahead and keep talking about where to get your Marshmallow Fluff that is fine--but the porosity of borders is an important issue and one that is certainly "related to International Living" and one aspect that some folks may want to consider.
