there are many people employed in Costa Rica THAT WORK from their homes on the internet . Just do your homework from the united states before you come . Your future is in the hands of those who do their due diligent. This is not like the USA . You have a better chance of success before you leave. I would be proactive not reactive in your job persuit.

You cannot work for a telemarketing company in CR until permanent resident which takes a few years. Right Kohl?

You can't 'legally' work unless you have a work visa, are a permanent resident (4-5years) or work online,

It's the "Holy Grail" live and work in paradise!

"QCOSTARICA – People often think that it is possible to move to Costa Rica to work or increase their pension with some form of part-time activity. Working in Costa Rica is not so simple.
In general, it must be said, although there some exceptions, you cannot get a job in Costa Rica without first obtaining legal permanent residency with no employment restrictions or citizenship.
The government does not allow non-resident foreigners to work as employees."

"La vida es buena" (if you can afford it)
