Running an Internet Business in Guatemala

We are almost committed to moving forward with the idea of moving to Guatemala.

We've researched all of Central America, and most of South America, and Guatemala just feels like the right move for us.

I own an internet business that sells (brokering) physical products to businesses in the US mostly.

I work with wholesale printers and sell printed goods, etc., to businesses in the US, as well as some import goods from the Pacific Rim, which is becoming a staple for our business.

I should be able to keep my US phone numbers and will keep proxy addresses in my current state of residence, so it will look like we're US based unless you examine thing more closely, which most clients don't. And if they do, as long as the product samples are good and the pricing is in budget, most won't care anyway, I don't believe.

At any rate, if there are any expats on this forum who run any similar type business in Guatemala, I'd like to hear from you what you would bring and what you wouldn't bring down from the states, and what would be the best form of maintaining good communication with our US clientele which is growing rapidly.

Also, how do you handle taxes, and is there things to do or not do in this category.

Any and all advice will be helpful (well, most of it anyway).
