The cost of utilities such as electricity, heating, cooling, water, and garbage is also relatively low. Groceries in Gyor are reasonably priced, with items such as bread, milk, eggs, fruits, and vegetables being quite affordable. Eating out at an inexpensive restaurant is also not very costly, while a three-course meal for two people at a mid-range restaurant can be a bit more expensive. Public transportation in Gyor is also quite affordable, with monthly passes available at a reasonable price. Gasoline prices are a bit high, similar to other parts of Europe. Healthcare in Gyor is generally affordable, especially for those who are covered by public health insurance. Private healthcare can be more expensive, but is still reasonable compared to many other countries. Overall, the cost of living in Gyor is lower than in many other European cities, making it an attractive place for those looking to live in a vibrant, historic city without the high costs associated with many other locations," said one person in Gyor.
