When it comes to groceries, prices are reasonable with local markets offering fresh and affordable produce. Eating out in Leuven can range from inexpensive to pricey depending on the restaurant. Fast food and casual dining are relatively affordable, while fine dining can be quite expensive. Public transportation in Leuven is efficient and affordable, with options including buses and trains. Owning a car can be quite expensive, considering the costs of fuel, maintenance, and parking. Leisure activities such as fitness club memberships, cinema tickets, and night outs are moderately priced. Clothing and shoes from high street brands are reasonably priced, while luxury brands can be quite expensive.
