What should I pack when moving to Baguio city?

Answer this Question

We asked people living in Baguio city to list three things they wish they had brought and three they wish they had left behind. They responded...

"When moving to Baguio City, Philippines, you should pack a variety of clothing options due to the city's cooler climate. This includes light jackets, sweaters, and long-sleeved shirts for the colder months, as well as lighter clothing like t-shirts and shorts for the warmer months. Don't forget to pack a good pair of walking shoes, as the city is known for its hilly terrain. In terms of personal items, bring your toiletries, prescription medications, and any other personal care items you use daily. It's also a good idea to pack a first aid kit for any minor injuries or illnesses. If you plan on cooking, consider packing some of your favorite spices or ingredients that may not be readily available in Baguio. Similarly, if you have a favorite brand of coffee or tea, you might want to bring some along. For entertainment, bring books, a laptop, or other devices to keep you occupied during your downtime. Don't forget your chargers and adapters, as the Philippines uses a different plug type than many other countries. Lastly, bring important documents such as your passport, driver's license, and any necessary visas or work permits. It's also a good idea to have copies of these documents in case the originals are lost or stolen," explained one expat living in Baguio city, Philippines.
