Moving to London as family of 4

Hi...we plan to move to London early 2015 and by July '14 we want to make a look see trip. We want to live in/near central London as work is on Bank. Areas recommended to us are: Notting Hill Gate, Holland Park, Hampstead Heath, Chiswick, Greenwich and Blackheath. We have two kids, who will be 4 yrs and 2 yrs old by our move and would prefer state school for the 4 yrs old one. Can you share if these areas are good for families and good for schools. Our must haves are:
1. easy and short commute to work
2. good schools, preferably state ones
3. green areas/parks within walking distance
4. lively neighborhood with restaurants, groceries, hospital

the question is:
1- which area would you recommend
2. very important....whom to contact to arrange some neighborhood viewing, properties, schools, etc.. Do estate agents provide this service and any recommendations?

We don't want to make the July trip like a tourist trip but thought to be as efficient as possible and return with a set mind as where we want to live.

Thank you!
