No, I kept my financial institution I had in the states. I did not have a local bank in the states.

What advice would you offer others about banking as an expat in your country? What do you wish you had known about banking when you first arrived?

Only keep a small amount of cash in a local bank.

What sort of challenges or frustrations have you encountered as an investor living overseas? Please describe.

None, other then that to cash a localy drawn check, you have to go to the bank that it is written against to cash it.
