Submitted by ResearchTeam

What is the name of the city or town that you are reporting on?

Ho Chi Minh City

What have been the most challenging aspects of being retired abroad?

One of the most challenging aspects of retiring in Ho Chi Minh City is the language barrier. Although English is becoming more widely spoken, it is still not as common as in other countries. Additionally, the cost of living in Ho Chi Minh City can be quite high, making it difficult to live comfortably on a fixed income. Furthermore, the city can be quite crowded and noisy, making it difficult to find a peaceful place to relax. Finally, the healthcare system in Vietnam is not as advanced as in other countries, making it difficult to access quality medical care.
