Parana or Santa Catarina

12 years ago
Hello all;
I am a 25 year old student, who by the end of December will hold Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. However I do know that the psychology field in general, in brazil is a very hard profession to get into.

However, I am Brazilian, but I have lived in the USA since I was 11. I would love to live in brazil if even for just a year, but i do not want to spend all my savings and come back in debt. I'd like to experience living in brazil for a year, and possibly liking it and staying, but if I don't stay, I want no harm done.

With that said, I am very uniformed on how to go on finding jobs in brazil, I'm either looking for employment in Curitba, Parana, or Joinville, Santa Catarina.
I have family in both areas, but they do not have contacts that I need in regards to jobs...In Joinville it would be easier since I have immediate family there, but in Curitiba I only have friends in their early 20s...
Anyone has any advice? help?
( I have a cpf, and an Id...I jusr dont have a "carteira de trabalho" or a driver's licence..."

I also am worried about crime, and losing everything I saved (i am a student, working part-time, intern-shipping the rest of the time, AND going to grad school)
But it has been a desire of mine to experience living in brazil...
