It is a planned city, designed with the comfort and convenience of its residents in mind. There is a growing expat community in Sejong City, although it is not as large as in other major Korean cities like Seoul or Busan. However, the expats living there are generally friendly and welcoming, and there are several social groups and activities that one can join to meet other expats and locals alike. Culturally, Sejong City has a lot to offer. The city is home to the National Museum of Korea's Sejong branch, which showcases a wide range of Korean art and history. There are also several beautiful parks and gardens, such as the Sejong Lake Park and the Hansol Oak Valley, which are perfect for leisurely walks or picnics. Recreational activities are plentiful in Sejong City. There are several golf courses, hiking trails, and biking paths for those who enjoy outdoor activities. The city also has a number of sports facilities, including swimming pools, tennis courts, and fitness centers.
