Eating out at restaurants and cafes can range from budget-friendly to more expensive options, depending on the establishment. Transportation costs are reasonable, with local bus services connecting Lyme Regis to nearby towns and cities. Owning a car may be more convenient for those living in the area, but petrol prices can fluctuate. Utilities, such as electricity, gas, and water, are generally in line with the UK average, while council tax rates depend on the property's valuation band. Overall, the cost of living in Lyme Regis is manageable for those with a moderate income, but it may be more expensive than living in other smaller towns or rural areas in the UK," said one person in Lyme Regis.
