"The cost of living in Stirling, is considered to be relatively moderate compared to other cities in the UK. Housing tends to be more affordable than in larger cities like Edinburgh or Glasgow. The cost of renting a one-bedroom apartment in the city center can be quite reasonable, while a similar apartment outside the city center is even less expensive. Utilities such as electricity, heating, cooling, and water are also reasonably priced, although this can vary depending on the size of the property and the time of year. Internet service is generally affordable and widely available throughout the city. Groceries in Stirling are priced similarly to the rest of the UK, with a variety of supermarkets and local shops offering competitive prices. Eating out at restaurants can range from relatively inexpensive at pubs and casual dining spots, to more costly at high-end establishments. Public transportation in Stirling is reliable and reasonably priced, with regular bus and train services connecting the city to other parts of Scotland. Owning a car can be more expensive, with costs including fuel, insurance, and maintenance to consider.
