Is the cost of living in Szentendre high?

"The cost of living in Szentendre is considered to be relatively affordable compared to other European cities. The cost of housing is moderate, with rental prices being quite reasonable, especially when compared to the capital city, Budapest. The cost of utilities such as electricity, heating, cooling, water, and garbage is also relatively low. When it comes to groceries, prices are quite affordable, with local markets offering fresh produce at reasonable prices. Eating out in restaurants is also not very expensive, with a wide range of options available to suit different budgets. Transportation costs are also quite low in Szentendre, with affordable public transportation options available. Owning a car can be more expensive due to the cost of petrol and maintenance. Healthcare in Szentendre is generally affordable, especially if you are covered by the national health insurance. However, private healthcare can be more expensive. Overall, the cost of living in Szentendre is quite manageable, making it an attractive place to live for both locals and expats," explained one expat.
