"Santa Catalina, is a relatively affordable place to live, especially when compared to larger cities. The cost of living is low, with basic necessities such as food, water, and utilities being quite affordable. Rent, whether for a small apartment or a larger house, is also reasonably priced. Eating out at local restaurants is inexpensive, and local transportation costs are minimal. However, imported goods, high-end dining, and luxury accommodations can be more expensive. Healthcare is also affordable, especially in comparison to North American standards. Overall, the cost of living in Santa Catalina, Panama, is manageable for both locals and expats," explained one expat.
