Fourthly, understand the cultural differences. In Japan, it's common for the mother to stay in the hospital for a few days after giving birth, and there are certain traditions and customs related to childbirth that you may not be familiar with. Fifthly, make sure you understand the legal aspects of having a baby in Japan. For example, you will need to register the birth at your local city hall and at your embassy or consulate to ensure your child's citizenship rights. Lastly, consider joining a support group for expat parents. This can be a great way to share experiences, get advice, and make friends.
