What do expats find most challenging?
We asked expats and digital nomads what they find the most challenging about the local culture in Todos Santos. They wrote...
"Adapting to the language barrier can be a challenge for expats in Todos Santos. Many locals only speak Spanish, so understanding urban and rural slang can be difficult to learn. Additionally, the cultural norms and way of living can also be unfamiliar, as Todos Santos is a small, tight-knit coastal town with strong traditions, making it difficult for outsiders to become fully accepted into the community. Furthermore, the fact that Todos Santos is a tourist town and the economy is reliant upon foreign visitors makes the cost of living slightly more expensive than other Mexican cities," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Todos Santos, Mexico.
