The Hakone Open-Air Museum, for instance, features a vast collection of contemporary and modern sculptures set against the backdrop of Hakone's stunning natural scenery. The Hakone Shrine, a Shinto shrine with a history dating back over a thousand years, is another must-visit site. For those who enjoy outdoor activities, Hakone offers a wealth of options.
