"Waterloo offers a range of healthcare services. For primary care, there are several family and walk-in clinics, along with a hospital and several specialized clinics. For more urgent care, there is a dedicated urgent care centre, as well as an Emergency Department at the hospital. Waterloo also has a range of specialty clinics, like those for mental health and addiction, diabetes, and maternity. In addition, the city offers a range of specialized services for seniors, including geriatric medicine and palliative care," remarked another expat who made the move to Waterloo, Belgium.
