What is it like in your country of residence for someone with your relationship status (married/divorced/dating)? If you're single, how do you meet other people? Do English-speaking people tend to gravitate to certain parts of your city?

I am a single foreign woman living in Tokyo. My advise: If you are like me, and wanna have a fun romantic social life as a HETEROSEXUAL, THEN TOUGH LUCK!!!

I don't recommend Tokyo. Speaking not only about myself, but speaking for numerous foreign heterosexual women friends of mine in Tokyo.

As for lesbians, one German friend did find a wonderful loving Japanese partner. :) So, it's different.
