Coronado, Panama

My wife and I are looking to retire out of country. We have been doing a fair amount of research into both Panama and Ecuador and we are soon ready to make a couple of exploratory trips to check things out. I really like what I've seen about Coronado so far (golf) and I'm wondering if anyone can provide any leads on a place in the area to rent for a month. I would also be open to hearing any opinions on Panama vs Ecuador if any folk here are willing to share that. Gracias.

Just a suggestion that you explore Colombia as an alternative to Ecuador as a backup plan if Panama doesn't "pan" out. You might be pleasantly surprised.

go to you tube and type in frank and angie ecuador. Their a family of five including kids who have lived in Ecuador many years. They have made a series of videos on the country that might be of some help to you. I think you can contact them directly regarding rent, etc., but I'm not sure about that. Good luck.

I love Panama the best on the research I have done plus being able to get back to USA quickly. Let me know if you have any questions

Check the golf fees and prices vary living by the mountains is cheaper than living by the beach. I have seen monthly rentals for $500 per month in different areas just depends on where you want to live
