Living in Canada, Working in USA

My wife and I are foreigners living in the US and will like to move to Canada next year. We plan to apply for the skilled worker visa. She however will like to work in the US and go back to Canada when she is off work. This is because she is a pharmacist and she will get paid more in the USA, and will not have to waste time and money getting a pharmacy license in Canada immediately. She will have an US H1B work visa.
My question is this: Does any one commute between the US and Canada who can offer advice
Does she have to have her passport stamped every time she goes into the US.
What else do we have to think about?
