Female Legal Business Attire in Delhi

I'm preparing for a legal internship in Delhi this summer. What is appropriate business attire for western females? I love my skirt suits, but since the skirts come to the middle of the knee or just above the knee, I'm afraid they will not be appropriate. Will I be stuck wearing hot pant suits in Delhi in June?

Also, I'll be working with an NGO and will be spending some time in the office, some time in court, and some time in the field in low-income areas. I'm guessing that the attire will vary based upon where I'm spending my time, but any insight anyone can give me for this would be much appreciated.

I've spent time in India before, but as a traveler, not for business purposes, so my knowledge of appropriate attire is limited to much more casual wear. Thanks so much for any advice!
