The cost of groceries in Fukuoka is also relatively affordable, with local markets and grocery stores offering a variety of fresh produce, meat, and seafood. Eating out at restaurants can vary greatly in price, with inexpensive options available alongside high-end dining experiences. Public transportation in Fukuoka is efficient and reasonably priced, with options including buses, trains, and the subway. Taxis are also available but can be more expensive. Healthcare in Fukuoka is of a high standard and is generally affordable, especially for those who are covered by Japan's national health insurance system.
