We asked retirees what they find the most rewarding about retiring in Hungary. They wrote...

"One of the most rewarding aspects of retiring in Hungary is the opportunity to experience the country's rich culture and history. With its vibrant cities, stunning countryside, and diverse cultural heritage, Hungary offers retirees a unique and rewarding experience. Additionally, Hungary has a low cost of living, making it an attractive destination for retirees on a budget. The country also offers excellent healthcare and a wide range of leisure activities, making it an ideal place to enjoy a comfortable retirement," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Hungary.

"Just slowing down, enjoying very simply a café for a coffee and cake, walking everywhere, admiring the architecture, the arts and entertainment, so many cultural activities and of course the easy travel. We sold our car in Toronto and decided not to buy one here, so we found a great rental car company whenever we want to travel outside of Budapest," commented one expat who made the move to Budapest, Hungary.
