making a life in ochi

Next year my family and I will be moving to ochi. My husband is a Jamaican but my children and I are british. Anyway can anyone offer me any survival tips> I have info on schools and am checking them out, but I want to know about some of the nitty gritty like the best provider for phone and internet, good supermarkets and places to buy clothes, do you buy school uniform or get it made, places to take my children for entertainment, here they have swimming and gym lessons is that easily available. where can I go to meet other expats, are there expat support/friendship groups etc. although I have been to Jamaica many times I know living there will be different and I want to give it a real shot can anyone offer any real practical advice. (I have already sent down a generator)I have a british drivers licence will I still need a Jamaican one as I do intend to drive there, I have tried to find and sort out most things for my children so now I need to think about me. I love to read, cycle, swim and run. I could not survive if I did not work and I like to be involved in voluntary work particularly related to children and education. Thank you for the info already shared with me about schools. However, does anyone have any more info on Marjam prep or st Johns prep in Ochi
