Is the cost of living in ras al khaimah high?

We asked people how much they someone comfortably live on in ras al khaimah, they wrote:

"The cost of living in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, is generally lower compared to other emirates like Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Housing is quite affordable, with a variety of options available from apartments to villas, depending on your budget and preference. Utilities such as water, electricity, and internet are also reasonably priced. When it comes to food, both groceries and dining out are relatively inexpensive. Local markets offer fresh produce at lower prices, while a meal at a mid-range restaurant can be quite affordable. Transportation costs are also lower in Ras Al Khaimah. Petrol is cheaper compared to many countries, and public transportation like buses and taxis are readily available at reasonable rates. Healthcare in Ras Al Khaimah is of high quality and is less expensive compared to other emirates. Both public and private healthcare facilities are available, with the cost of private healthcare being higher. Education costs vary depending on the type of school. International schools tend to be more expensive, while local government schools are more affordable. Overall, the cost of living in Ras Al Khaimah is considered to be moderate, offering a good quality of life at a lower cost compared to other parts of the UAE," said one expat in ras al khaimah.
