Single, self-employed, looking to move solo

Hello all. I'm sorry to post this, I'm sure it gets exhausting hearing about this stuff, but I'm 27, I own my own business which does 90% of everything via the internet. Basically, I'm looking for either 6 or 12 months.

I am looking for:
1. Monthly rent under 5400 pesos
2. Air conditioned bedroom
3. Internet for doing or at least updating my work
4. Within a cab-ride of a beach

I don't need anything nice, just furnished. I could do a 1 room studio even, I'm not needy when it comes to space. I'd prefer to live most of my life outside the home anyway and just eat and sleep there.

I am a former infantryman which means that I can rough it in comfort and style and don't need a whole lot.

So I guess, I know this stuff, but what I don't know is:

a) Where do I begin?
b) What sort of town am I looking for?
c) can I get the one prescription I need with ease?
d) If you were me, what would you do?

I'm a writer and a messaging/comms professional, and like I said I have international clients, so most all of my work is remote. But how difficult would it be to have a stable internet connection either at home or at a cafe?

I've heard everything from go on a 6 month travel visa then see about extending your stay/renewing it.

Thank you guys for being so open and honest. This is a really cool community. I appreciate all of your patience with reading this and your time for responding. Take care.
