Tip - Greeting Cards to US

I found something pretty neat for Americans who send birthday cards etc. to the U.S!

I always grouse about how expensive the cards and postage are here - I usually end up spending at least 2,50 euro on the card (usually more) and 1,50 on the postage.

But I found at Hallmark.com that they have a greeting card service. They charge under $3.00 to send most cards, including postage and a handwritten greeting.

Drawbacks: not a great card selection; must have a US credit card; don't get to write a very long greeting.

And I guess that with the exchange rate, $3.00 almost equals 4,00 euro nowadays, but I still like being able to send an American card from within the U.S!
