Your Hungarian night mare!

OK so you heard a lot of bad stories about Hungary--right?
The 27% sales tax, the fine driven economy, fees for everything including $250's to get permission to buy real estate, etc. But here is your real "night mare"! You need to get something done and you waltz in to a bureaucrat's "cave"! Hope to God that he or she knows the real scoop. Often smaller offices don't deal with foreigners often so in Hungary if a bureaucrat doesn't know the answer than the answer is always "NO!". This is really bad because often you won't know where to turn to! The reason is that Hungarian bureaucrats are not given authority to act and independent thinking is frowned upon and severely discouraged. Many time it is useless to ask to talk with a superior because you won't be given that opportunity. If you hit a brick wall and it is really important find an attorney that knows how to unlock the key to the bureaucratic kingdom! Yes it will cost you money but not as much it would in a Western democracy! Sounds discouraging? It meant to be!!!
