Cozumel: Woody's Restaurant

Good afternoon,

I don’t know if there is a way to put this out to the masses of USA expats living in Cozumel but I’m very hopeful that someone will see this and be able to help us. My name is Tom Biegler, my wife and I travel to Cozumel every year on vacation. We were there this past January (2017) and on Monday or Tuesday evening February 6th or 7th , we were eating at a restaurant (Woody’s) just off of the main Plaza in Cozumel and a very young mother, who spoke no or very little English, came through and was looking for donations. This young mom, had a baby that had a severely cleft lip. The baby was probably no more than a few months old with a very full head of hair. The baby’s cleft was on the right side of its nose/mouth, and was very pronounced.

I am trying to find this young lady as I’m also involved with an organization that provides surgeries for children with this malady. The organization is Operation Smile and if I can locate this person, I may be able to help facilitate having a surgery for that young baby. If any of you know this person, I would very much appreciate it if you could get the mom’s name for me.

Thank you and GOD bless,

Tom and Karolynn Biegler
my cell number is 701-226-1078
