We are considering using La Vida Golden Visas (goldenvisas.com) to invest in a property and to also help with the legal process involved to apply for the Golden Visa,
The employee that we have talked to seemed helpful and upfront, but I do realize that they are foremost a real estate company whose main goal is to sell properties but have added value because they help with the legal process involved.
Is working with a company like this easier/worth it vs just working directly with a realtor/lawyer in Portugal instead?
Would really love to hear from anyone who has recently used this company to get their Golden Visa and what the experience was like.
Their lawyer fees are as follows (per family).
- Golden Visa Application = € 5,000;
- Golden Visa Renewals = € 1,500 (per renewal, year 1, 3 and 5);
- Citizenship = € 2,500 (after 5 years).
Portugal Govt. Fees
Application fee for the investor: € 533.90;
- Application fee for each relative of the investor: € 83.30;
- Approval fee for first time residency applications (price per applicant): € 5,336.40;
- Approval fee for residency renewal applications: € 2,668.80 Paid at the end of year 1, 3 and 5.
