What advice would you offer others about banking as an expat in your country? What do you wish you had known about banking when you first arrived?
Get as much online service as you can. The Dutch banks are not that helpful. Most workers speak some English but in the end, the jargon is different and I have had several communication problems. There are a number of specialised Expat financial consultancy services who can help work out how best to work through the communication problems
