"It is important to be respectful of local customs and traditions when visiting Dubai. It is important to dress modestly, especially when visiting religious sites. It is also important to avoid public displays of affection, as this is considered inappropriate in the UAE. Additionally, it is important to be aware of the local laws and regulations, and to avoid engaging in activities that are illegal in the UAE, such as drinking alcohol in public or using drugs. Finally, it is important to be respectful of the local culture and to avoid making derogatory comments about the UAE or its people," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Dubai, the UAE.
