Ecuador has become lost in all the banter

I belong to several expat forums on Ecuador; most of whom have a moderator to keep things under control. I think this forum could learn some lessons from the other ones. I am not one for censorship, but guys little that has been said over the past couple of days has anything to do with Ecuador. I think it is time to remember there are forums all over the net for issues concerning most of these non-Ecuadorian related issues. We have been told on the other forum that people will be banned for personal attacks, discussions of politics outside of Ecuador, personal religious beliefs unrelated to Ecuador.
I am only speaking for myself, but I could care less where a person lives in the US, where he eats, what his daily activities are. These have no relationship to Ecuador and what is going on here. It is becoming quite irritating to read all this on a daily basis. I read it because I hope somewhere in the banter there is some useful information that relates directly to Ecuador. We can all judge for ourselves whether or not it is useful and relevant, and we don't need anyone to tell us whether we should believe it or not.
I don't need anyone to respond to me to try and defend his/her position. Folks let's just stick with talking about Ecuador and forget all the superfulous banter before we drive everyone away from this forum!!!!!!!
