pain medicine availability in ecuador

my wife and i are planning a move there in 4 months. one concern we have is this: we both have been seeing a pain management doctor here in the states for years (neck and back injuries)...we are concerned about establishing a similar doctor there...we are prescribed oxycodone and are well aware of the negative publicity that has surrounded such medication...we are trying to determine if it is available in throughout the country...any info would be greatly appreciated.
