This blog is certainly full of experts, visas, what you must do and not do, how to bake a cake, and what your dog needs to know. I cannot remember a group of gringos in any country, some that have been here only a short time, that give so much advice----much of it in error. There are a 1000 visa stories out there, hardly a one that is the same, so you can just pick one. I am not in the ‘advice business’ so the only thing I offer is to decide where you want to live, choose or not choose someone to assist you with the visa, and then start your visa journey. In the end----if you make it---you to will have a ‘visa story’.

Now that I have had my say, I would ask what is your PERSONAL experience with shipping goods on a pallet? I have shipped many containers, 20’s, 40,s and high cubes from Asia. Boxes from Thailand, Bali, and Columbia but have no info on pallets.
I would like to know dimensions, cost, who does the packing, and the safety of goods. We have an extensive primitive art collection, and although nothing is safety certain, I have had little breakage with the exception of inexpensive pottery which is expected. Rare goods were always wrapped well and then put inside a cabinet, gerbog etc. Please only what you experienced and not what someone said or some friend in the business.
