Recent Gibberish on Ecuador & Earthquakes

Been meaning to post for days, but too swamped...so, little time for this. However, I was forwarded data from a well-known and oft read Ecuador-based publication, which seemed to be inferring that the Ecuadorian coast is more susceptible to earthquakes than the sierras. This is pure "horse-hockey" and a thinly veiled effort to feed a burgeoning sierra based business, for which this rag is a "shill script". Then, consider that the volcanoes of Ecuador are the result of subduction of the Pacific tectonic plate under the continental plate of South America. In laymen's terms - where the plates clash, the volcanos pop...and where the plates clash are also the flash points for earthquakes. Care to guess where Ecuador's volcanoes reside? Not that I have ever been wholly tolerant of it, but the amount of disinformation being put out there, much of it by members of my own industry community (real estate) is growing exponentially in relation to a rapidly rising demand and the lack of sufficient inventory increase to feed that demand, in many locales...though not all. Not been very tolerant...growing less, as I reside at ground zero of the bs and misinformation being spewed, with a daily view of some of the damage it creates, with people making routinely misinformed decisions. Then, we all sit and gossip about them, conjecturing why some are returning "home". Garbage in...garbage out. If you base your decisions on pure folly...you will reap, what you sow. As usual, many may not like it...but I am going to state it bluntly, as it truly is.
