Coming down in june

I will be arriving at guayaquil at 1130 at night and need a resonable safe hotel or hostal near airport that night,can someone recommend one. also will be leaving the next morning with a rent a car heading up the coast to san clemente, what sights should I see on the way,we want to stay on the coastal highway all the way,then the next day venture to monticristi,manta,portejivo, from manta what sights do you reccommend. we will be there for 10 days staying at vistazul then venturing out. thanks Also looking for a good place for a deal on ecuador (panama hats).
