Canadian missing in Ecuador

HI, i'm looking for information about my father's girl missing. He' s name Yanick Loyer , 43 years old. He was in ecuador since the 6 of june 2012. Everything was ok until the 3 august 2012, the last time i've talk to him. I was supposed to go there the 7 august with our daughter and the Yanick' s mother. But the 5, i've receive a message form a friend of Yanick who told me to cancel my travel, something happen to Yanick. He was with friend in Plaza Foch (la Mariscal) he was drinking outside with them at the Azuca restaurant. A guy (équadorian) came to talk with Yanick and he goes with. Nobody saw him after that. The ambasy know about his missing but nothing been made until now,. So i'm looking for any information that could help me to know what's happen that night. If somebody knows something something
