Mosquito problem ? Get rid of them .... ECOLOGICALLY

Are mosquitos a problem ? Here is a simple, cheap, and ecological way to get rid of
them, by creating a "honey trap" no mosquito can resist.

Take a large ( 2L) Coke/Pepsi bottle and cut it around at about 60-70% of its height.
You'll obtain 2 sections. One as "a large cup", and another one looking like "a funnel".

In rest you need some water, BROWN sugar, some dried yeast, and some thick dark,
preferably black, paper.

Quantities ?

200-250 ml ( one cup) of water to 50 gr. ( 10 teaspoons) of brown sugar, and 1 gr. of
dried yeast.

For larger quantities you can use "multiples "of the above.

Warm up some water, 20-30% of the height of the large segment of the bottle, put the
sugar in and make sure it dissolves in the water. Let the water cool down , sprinkle the
yeast on top of the water ( no need to mix the liquid), and place the "funnel part" upside
down so you'd create a "trap"
Cover all around the walls of the bottle with the black/dark paper, hold in place with
some elastics, and place the "contraption" in the corner of the room.
Open the trap in 10-14 days, empty it, and.... REPEAT THE PROCESS. !

When you open the trap, you'll realize how effective it is ! ;-)

The yeast will ferment the sugar and create carbon dioxide as a result. Mosquitos find
the CO2 highly appetizing and once they enter the "trap" they are.... ."kaput" !

You can use this in homes, hotels, commercial spaces, restaurants, schools, etc. etc.
It is effective also for the "tiger mosquito" a vector (carrier) of the chikungunya virus,
and of Dengue Fever, and a potential carrier of Yellow Fever, encephalitis, and heartworm
in pets.

Share with everybody else ...and..... mention the poster ( me ) ... in your prayers. :-)))
