So - I'm thinking in my head - if I understand the importation regulations correctly for bringing in a container of household goods duty free - the only restrictions are: 40 pounds of clothing per person (could this be kilos?) and 2 computers per person (?). If that is true, then a container of household goods could contain all brand-new merchandise -new washer, dryer, refrigerator, small appliances, water cooler/heater, etc. - as long as there is an obvious intent that they are for the use of the family - and not for resale. Can this be correct, and if so, then for those building a house, can they also include such things as tankless water heaters, toilets, sinks, etc? Please critique or correct my thinking if it is flawed.
