Gay - Retiring to Ecuador

Being gay is not the big issue for me in my plans to move to Ecuador when I retire. However, I have found it easier to network within the gay community. I am really interested in developing some on-line relationships with people so there are people I know and trust before I move. I have plenty of time since my plan is to move in three years. I also plan to visit at least twice before my move.
The rest of my plan is find a condo in Guayaquil initially, store the few items I plan to ship here and then explore. I'm pretty sure I want to live with 1 to 1 1/2 hours from Quito, between Quito and the beach.
I am hoping to find someone to go with me,but if I do not I will move alone. I will have a nice pension so expect a can live comfortable modest life.
I love meeting new people and learning of their lives and culture and hope to start doing with those living in Ecuador.
