Peninsula - English Speaking, Primary Care Physician

In the many months that I have actively monitored this Expat Exchange - Ecuador; I have been most concerned about the apparent unavailability of an English Speaking Primary Care Physician (with focus on Preventative Care and Wellness).

In July, over 40 expats met for lunch to meet with Dr. Carlos.

In August, he began seeing patients in La Libertad, at a very modern Medical Specialist Office.

This office has on site: Laboratory (clinical & pathological), Scans (Sonograms & Doppler), X-Ray, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Minor Emergency Room (Sutures, IV, etc), Pharmacy.

His schedule for the rest of the month of August in La Libertad is:

Tuesday 13 Aug
Saturday 17 Aug
Wednesday 21 Aug
Monday 26 AUG
Thursday 29 Aug

Dr. Carlos specializes in Expat Primary Care and Coordination of Care with Specialists (Guayaquil & Salinas). He is also affiliated with two well regarded private hospitals in Guayaquil. (If you are a primary care patient of his, he will coordinate your care with specialist physicians who do not speak English)

His office in La Libertad (Close to Paseo Shopping Mall) will provide full documentation for allowable Health Insurance Reimbursement Situations (ex: SALUD SA). This office also accepts International Credit Cards.
